Merry Christmas from the Kanes!

As a little present, we thought we'd give you a family update.

Kyle is doing great and is almost 4 months old! He's such a curious and exploring little boy who loves to be entertained 24/7. He loves new people, new places and things...and with that he's loving the Christmas decorations and lights! We decided to open presents and stalkings on Christmas Day night after my mom gets off work (Grammy)...so we're waiting...and here are some fun pictures from the last week.

Daddy and Kyle were hanging out as I was making our new stockings.

Kyle of course had to give us a cute face. He loves the camera.

Here I am putting the finishing touches on the new stockings. Glitter + Glue = Fabulous Christmas Stockings!

Then we headed to the Mall so Kyle could meet Santa for the first time!!! Here is Grammy hanging out with Kyle in the line....and it was a long line!

My little man!! Daddy was off buying surprise presents for Mommy.

We finally made it! Kyle met one of Santa's helpers.....this was the quietest he had been all day!! I think he was trying to be good for Santa. And there's goes his cute little addidas pants like daddy's....it's the last time they will fit. :) sigh. he's gettin' so big!

Then we headed back home for some relax time. Looks like Kyle is trying to say something??

And, this year was the year of record snow in the Portland/Vancouver area! We got around 15" total....so we're enjoying a white Christmas.

Here's our back yard.

And Joey loves to sneek out and play in the snow..then he gets cold and I have to go save him. Silly Cat

I then convinced my mom into making a snow angel . :) heehehe

Mikey and I had to stop for a quick picture.

And I showed off my new kicks! Mikey spoiled me and bought me a new jacket, gloves and boots to play in the snow!

There I go...making the most of the snowy investment....

Here's the view of our house from the neighbors.

I'm trying to demonstrate how deep the snow is!

But the ruler tells the story!

Then after a long snow filled day, I went in to study for my insurance license exam, and Kyle bug was helping mommy, then he fell asleep. Awwww, i know the trick now!

Just read him the insurance manual to get him right asleep. :)

Merry Christmas and Happy Soon New Year!

Love,
The Kanes

It's time for a Griswald Christmassssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, the Kane household is all about the decorations and blowing circuit breakers, therefore let the madness begin.

Here's a before shot, I couldn't even find Kyle! LOL

Dad took care of the outside. It was an icky day outside, and slick on the roof....that made leaving him up there that much more fun :) hahahah

Hubby was so proud! Good job baby. Ummm but the green one isn't lined up???

Grammy finished the inside. Here's our wittle tree, didn't have room for a big one - next year though!!!

And the pretty fireplace....just needs the stockings! Need to go get Kyle bug a stocking, awww how fun!!!

My favorite decoration, my fiber-optic snowman that Mike's mom gave me :)

Finished product - good job baby! I kept trying to talk him into more lights on the windows, but alas he was finished! LOL

Then, today Kyle went on a date! I met a new girly from the website Meetup.com where other mom's from Vancouver get together. I've been hoping to find a girly like me, in Vancouver, with a baby around Kyle's age, and her first! wfew...that's a LOT. But, I lucked out! I met Mandy Allen, she's completely fun and a party plannnneerrrr. Yah, way cool. So we met at the mall, and wheeled the kiddos around and had a fun journey.

It was fun walking down the mall side by side with the kids, lol...Maddy (her 2 month old daughter) was so little!! Actually, Kyle is just big. LOL They weren't being very social? LOL

Then, we stopped by Macy's so the kids could put in their wishlist for Santa!!!! Awwww, I loved it!

Here Kyle is telling me what he wanted: and as follows...

A racecar (an actual one...not a toy)

A train (again, actual)

2 front teeth (thinking he wants to munch on some pizza)

And a Wii.

Away it goes! Kyle dropped it in the box.

Then, a little bonding time with Maddy. Awww, they held hands! LOL..ok, it was a total setup, but so cute! :)

Group photo! LOL..ummm missing something?? Oh! mandy's head....(laughing)

14 shots later....almost all in there :). You rock Mandy :)

We've been having some fun at the Kane household. Kyle is growing growing growing.

Good news, the sleep schedule is doing much better. The last few nights, he's been going to bed about 9p to 10p and sleeping till 5 or 6am!!! I have a happy dance every time. And, he'll even go back to bed until about 8am sometimes, so needless to say, I've been quite energetic.

As for appetite, he's muchin' like crazy. I know he's quite excited to start downing some actual food. :) big boy

And, we're playing tummy time and rollover time, and he's almost got the rollover down.soooo close. He's also almost sitting up by himself..so we're close to a lot of fun stuff. We then realized we needed some good toys to entertain our little man. The swing and bouncer are quite boring and he loves to bounce...thus the JUMPERROOOOOO . :) It also so happened to be part of the Fischer Price Rainforest Collection...which is the same as all his other fun toys.

So, Kyle got one of his presents early...here are some pictures.

Then, it's Holiday Party time. We went to my company party which was lots of fun since it was Casino Night! yay!! Since i LOVE blackjack, I knew I would clean house. And, every $100 in chips was equal to 1 ticket into the prize drawing.
So, 1 hour later I was up $2700!!!!!! ohhhh yahhhh...so i had to take a shot of my gigantic stack of chips and my yummy lemon drop. Note the black chips, those are $100's baby.

Then my lucky dealer deserved a shot as well...he was fabulous!!

awww...the sweet sweet feeling of victory. :) LOL I was ready to head to VEGAS!~
However, even with 27 tickets into the drawing, I didn't manage to score any fun pressies. That's ok, the dinner was DELISH and the company even better. Fun times.

Then, it was time for Mike's company party. They had GREAT food, prime rib and halibut, and gave out amazing prizes..the best part was every employee got a gift. That was really awesome. The funny part is, when Mike went to the restroom is when his ticket was called!! So, I had to walk up to the tree and pick out a present. Mike walked back in just in time to see our new electronic tire gauge! I think God was sending me a subliminal message. LOL

Mike was quite excited as well.

Then we were home hanging with our little man and mommy and kyle stole the camera.
