Boy oh boy a busy March!

It was birthday weekend for Jessica! :) I welcomed my 29th year in with all my friends at Big Al's, a huge bowling and arcade venue with a huge sports bar and event space...this place is BIG! Haahaa...

Here's a group shot of the girls, the guys ran for the hills when they saw the camera come out.

Kyle was hanging out with the ladies chewing on his blankey. Still no teeth yet, but they sure are playing havic on poor little guys gums! (that's grammy holding Kyle)

My yummy cake that Mikey designed - he was quite proud. It was sooooooo delicious! I'm not a chocolate cake girl, so I asked for vanilla/vanilla with Strawberry filling. yummmmmm

Kyle bug hung out with aunty trishky and fell asleep in her arms. I don't know how since it was sooo loud in there!

One of my very good friends Erin has her bday 3 days before mine, so I was out about celebrating with her as well. Happy Bday e!

I also had the pleasure to volunteer for the 25th Annual Classic Wines Auction - one of the largest in the country. Thank you to Carma Corcoran (below with me) for the opportunity to help. It was a great experience and a fantastic event. Looking forward to next year!

Kane Family Blog Update

This has been a fun filled last month! I can't believe it's been so long since the last post.

Ok, so Kyle just had his 6 month check up - all is good. He's shot up in height, putting him at 98th percentile for height and 94 for weight. He's healthy, happy and a total entertainer - got the smile down.

And, with the 6month mark came the packing up of the swing that never gets used. It's so super cool! But not enough activity for our little man, he's either playing, eating or sleeping - so no swinging. The jumperoo has taken the place as the favorite toy.

He's been eating like a big boy, mixed rice w/ fruit, mush fruit, veggies, and some formula. He definitely loves the food.



I've been keeping myself busy busy. My job at American Family Insurance is WAY too much fun. I get to work with agents independently and help them with marketing and networking and such. Here's a picture of me and agent Traci Sorenson out ready to network and we bumped into the sports anchor from FOX 12, he was kind enough to take a picture. What a fun night!

Then my girlfriend Annie had her birthday party at Portland City Grill - a completely amazing restaurant atop Portland. Here's the group shot - birthdays are kinda big deal w/ me and my girls. *laughing* Mike thinks it's completely ridiculous - nahhh~

I then got to go to Benihana with my fellow colleagues from American Family Insurance for a welcome dinner for the new class of agents - the biggest in like 4 years!! Great group of people!!

Did some lunch and catching up with my old friend Sara.

And she got to meet Kyle for the first time - I think he likes her! (note: "THE" smile)

Then to celebrate 6 months of life - we had a little photoshoot :)
