The Kane Family: Keeping up with the Kanes: Kyle is 1 year old!

I can NOT believe how quickly life has zipped by! I definitely know fall is coming since I'm staring at the rain pouring down outside and my little baby is now 1 year old. This year has been incredibly challenging, yet so rewarding. Mike and I never dreamed this is how it would turn out, but we love every second of it.
Our "little man" (as he's now referred to) is uttering his favorite words: dadda, mum mum, and kicky (kitty). He is full of energy and spunk, definitely a charmer, and really a good little guy.
He's the best when we are out of the house, he loves new adventures and craves excitement and energy....which really is the ONLY reason he got through his 1st birthday after an entire day of NO SLEEP! Once the presents and energy were flowing, he was ready to GO.

We held it at our house in Vancouver, WA on his actual birthday since Labor Day weekend seemed to make party planning impossible.

As an extension of the Clique Mixer that I founded last year, Clique Baby was started. My good friend Mandy Allen is running Clique Baby as the Executive Director and she did a great job on the first ever Clique Baby...looking forward to building the events and making it even more fun. Kyle had some fun, but was so tired we had to go home early.

And to top off the summer, Daddy bought a new Jeep. I'm not sure the specs - will have to report back later on those, but I gather it's the coolest thing ever w/ a VERY loud engine! LOL Daddy is quite excited to build and re-do the Jeep and take mr. kyle out...
