Kyle is here...our story.

OMG - Kyle is here

I can NOT believe how quickly the last 39 weeks went, and how quickly my son is now here. I know I need to write like a "birth story" or something, but to be honest, my brain is just now functioning. The last 48 hours were pure hell, and it had nothing to do with my little man, but a bad reaction to the pain pills I was prescribed (oxy-something-or-other)...it hit me like a mac truck. I woke up with my heart racing, crazy jitters, and a naucous feeling that didn't go away till just a while ago. It was freaking miserable, and the worst part was I couldn't take care of my son. I thank the GOD above for answering me and bringing me back to life, finally that crazy shit has worked out of my system and thank GOD for the best husband and mother ever. They ordered me to rest as I had not slept more than 2 hours since Kyle was born, which honestly I didn't mind...I'd rather be dog ass tired than feel like that.

oy - sucks just thinking about it.

But, we're better now, and I actually got some food down...now I can enjoy my son again! I missed him soooo much.

He's the cutest thing I have EVER scene, and he looks exactly like his daddy. It's awesome.
As for the birth story, it was honestly so planned and uneventful (not as in not awesome, but no road bumps or bad stories - it was just perfect).

We had our planned time to go in, ummmm that was what? um, at Noon on Wed the 3rd. (what the hell is today??? ohy!) We went in. I got my IV, a beautifully stylish robe (haha), and all the questions. Daddy got his "scrubs" and we were delayed by 2 hours due to an emergency C-section for some twins -they came out ok thank goodness. Then I was UP.

They wouldn't let anyone go with me for this step. They wheeled me into the surgery room. Which was completely surreal. Nothing like imagined. And it was seriously 50 degrees in there!! I was shivering SO bad.

I got on the op table, the anesthesiologist (??? no idea) hunched me over and shot morphine into my back where my spinal was going to go in. The morphine shot was the shittest part - it hurt soooo bad!! Then, it was ready for the spinal. That was the weirdest part! I could feel the needle in my spinal cord, and it was the most wrong feeling ever....you just know that no one should be in your spinal cord! and you could feel the electricity flow being interupted by the needle. He finally got it where he wanted it. Then I had to rush flat on the table since my legs instantly went numb.

Mikey was then brought in. I was sliced open, and next thing you know, I hear Kyle crying. :) The best sound in the world. I couldn't believe my eyes or ears. Mikey was instantly by Kyle's side as he was being weighed and measured and all. They wrapped him up and I got to kiss his sweet little face. I was on the table for quite a while after that, to sew me up and all.

Next thing I know, I'm being wheeled into a recovery room and being feed ice chips. Man was I hungry too! I had no eaten in 28 hours!!! assholes! LOL

Then next thing I know, we're in my post partum room, which was nice nice! The nurses were amazing, the hospital was fabulous, and the best part! They had a "nourishment" room for the women on the floor, which we could go in and get drinks (diet coke on TAP wooh!), and food! and it was awesome!! :) lol....

But, on Saturday it was time to go home. Saturday was the ummm uhh the 6th of September. Mommy and Kyle were discharged and I was headed home! yay!!!! God it was great to get out!
So we're doing great and will try to report more.
