Let the initiations begin! Daddy has been going through the ringer lately. Mr. Kyle insists that dad change his clothes 3 times a day! :) (laughing)
In our first week, Mikey has been pee'd on, poo'd on, puked on, and so on. Poor dad. Grandma has managed to just get some spit up as well as I, but I'm sure Kyle is saving it up for us.

The hungry boy has been an eating machine and we're working on getting him to get his days/nights right so mommy can get some sort of sleep at night time. Even 4 hours would be a dream!

And, we managed our first outing! This is a huge deal since I was literally petrified. It's so scary! You think, what do I do if he screams right this second? Or if I'm in traffic and can't reach him and pull over? what if what if's...scary it is. Thank goodness Grandma was with me, and we managed to go to Target, the hair salon, and Winco! What a trip that was, I was exhausted and thankfully so was Kyle...grandma was on night duty. :)

I'm definitely feeling better, got through a hard week and seeing light at the end of the tunnel. I love feeling like ME again! I actually want to snuggle with my handsome husband again! Gosh that's nice! The last 3 months, I didn't want to be touched or snuggled or anything...ugh. And, I'm trying to get used to the idea that I'm not pregnant anymore...I mean I have been taking serious pain meds, you'd think that would help it sink in that a glass of wine and hot tub is probably ok now!

Oh! wine and hot tub! That's so on my to-do list!

It is good to hear the family is doing well. I know that it was wonderful having my first strawberry margarita. I would recommend trying to feed Kyle as much during the day as possible. I know that once I started to make sure I fed Lily every two hours regardless of napping, she started to sleep better at night. It helps them when they get the majority of their calorie needs met during the day. Since your little guy is slightly smaller than her, it would probably help you as well. Your little guy has soooo much black hair. I thought that Lily had a lot... LOL. He is very cute. Well, I hope that you continue to recuperate well. Say hi to G-ma Sherry for Lily and Me. Love a bunch, Christina Lackey and Family
